What do yoy think of Ramin as Enjolras in Les Miserables?

I first heard of him when watching Phantom of the Opera concert on PBS a few weeks ago. That being said I just love his voice and when I found out he portreyed Enjolras I wanted to see this. I am a huge fan of LM now. I actually got the Broadway soundtrack from the library and keep listening to it. I think he's great here. Michael Maguire portrayed Enjolras in the Broadway musical and I like his voice too. I wish that the people who were in the Broadway production performed to like Colm Wilkinson did. Especially Michael Maguire and Terrence Mann who is probably my fave Javert. I finally saw the concert on tv the other day but recently bought the dvd.

He was phenominal. I absoultely loved him. I wanted him to portray Enjolras in the musical film version. I also wanted Robert Madge to portray Gavroche in the musical film version. He was also phenominal in the concert as Gavroche. I also love hadley fraser, samantha barks, and Katie Hall. I thought Alfie Boe was brilliant as well.

Ramin was very good, this is the first thing I've ever seen/heard him in and it was nice.

I second Robert Madge as Gavroche, he was phenomenal as well, his acting is so spot on. It's too bad he was probably too old by time the movie started filming, I wonder if he was considered.

I enjoyed Ramin Karimloo as Enjolras. He was excellent.
That said, I prefer Michael Maguire in the role.

When I first saw Karimloo in the 25th Anniversary, and before he even sang a note, I thought who is this skinny guy they got to play Enjolras? I was used to seeing an imposing performer with a big voice like Michael Maguire or Anthony Warlow. Wow, was I ever off. I thought Karimloo was brilliant, and I really liked his voice. I hope to see more of him in future productions.

I absolutely adore Ramin, and I so wish he was playing Enjolras in the movie. But the movie looks awesome nonetheless.

I went in mostly looking for Samantha because I was curious for the movie, but he totally stole my attention. The passion and intensity he has is so perfect for Enjolras.

Oh, come on. Just one little Mind Crush. It'll barely hurt him.

*swoon*. Ramin IS Enjolras. I absolutely adore his voice.

Having now seen the movie, the 10th and the 25th Anniversary Concerts, I have to say that I feel that Ramin was the perfect Enjolras. Not only was his vocal performance fantastic, but he also had the magnetism that the role required. For that role, you need to have a reason that those people fought and died (beyond the singing). He had it.

He has one of the most imposing charismatic beautiful voices I ever heard! When he starts singing you can see the passion and the depth. IMO he was PERFECT for the role of Enjolras (who is one of my fav characters). He was equally brilliant as the Phantom, such a mesmerizing presence on stage.
By the way, he's playing Jean Valjean in the upcoming Les Miz tours. You can find videos of him on youtube singing Bring Him Home...absolutely amazing. I can totally picture him playing JVJ in the 35th or 40th anniversary haha

p.s : and to top it off, HE'S SO HOT!!!!
