MINOR SPOILERS

YES!!
I will prbably get accused of being biased because I'm a huge fan of all the Blinky Productions films, but...

Escape from New Jersey fits perfectly between the EFNY and EFLA films. EFNJ starts with the end of EFNY and fills in the gaps between. You find out why Snake robs the bank that got him sent to NY and some of the characters that appear in EFLA are included. The story is really well written and thought out.

The acting is flat out amazing in EFNJ. Hector De La Rosa is a perfect Snake. Roberto Lombardi is great as Armando Barone, not to mention how incredible Kim Santiago, Brimstone, Emmanuel Brown, Chris R. Notarile and Thomas Daniel are!

The only complaint some people have had is that some of EFNJ takes place in daylight. I personally like it as it can't be night all the time and it works with the plot.

My opinion is that EFNJ is more than good enough to be in theaters! I would watch this over an EFNY remake anyday.

Where can it be seen ?

It's broken up into 4 parts on Blinky Productions YouTube channel (Blinky500) and on the official Blinky Productions website. It is available edited together as an entire movie on DVD as well.

I've just seen this film and it's excellent. Hector De La Rosa did a great job as Snake, with sturdy support from Kim Santiago, Roberto Lombardo, and Thomas Daniel. Moreover, director/co-writer Chris R. Notarile is an absolute riot as Jack Burton. I've submitted a commment for this movie; it should be approved and posted on-line in a few hours.

1,000 mini-bios and I feel like I'm just getting started

I'd welcome a review for this from someone not associated with making it. Not saying that's all I've seen here, but let's face it -- there's easier ways to mask sublime praise.

That being said, I'm going to check it out on the website posted above, because even fan work of EFNY/ EFLA should be moderately entertaining. :)

The reviewer here on IMDb (Woodyanders) is not associated with making EFNJ! He writes a ton of reviews for films here on IMDb. I am not associated either, but I will admit I'm a pretty huge fan of this group of actors and film makers.

I think the only people posting on this board involved in making this film are Chris (Blinky500) who is the director and Roberto who is one of the actors, but neither of them has written a review.

I finally watched this a few years later when randomly thinking about it.

I stand with my previous ascertainment.
