agreed...the voice acting, CGI and action scenes were simply BREATHTAKING. Much better than any "real" action movie I've seen lately actually. RESPECT

shareThis was was surprisingly awesome. I came into it with low expectations but it blew me away. It got a little slow in the middle but other than that it was amazing.
shareNot sure I would call it epic but it was a fairly good action movie. This is just the kind of movie you're not supposed to take seriously bceause if you do yeah, the flaws will outweigh the entertainment factor.
Seriously though, it was supposed to be entertaining mostly rather than deep. Personally, I found character development lacking for most of the part, or at least it was development in the sense of making someone two-dimensional now suddenly having three dimensions rather than making a three-dimensional character more multilayered but meeh again, can't take it seriously for the same reason I can't take a movie like Barb Wire seriously. And in that respect it's still entertaining but yeah, a bit slow in the middle and towards the end.
I loved this movie! It had the feel and look of the games. At least I thought so. Its much better then the other animated RE movie. Hmmm... name escapes me at the moment. That one took too much away from my idea of who Claire is. Shes one of my favorite characters and to take away her kick as#seness was annoying.
I played the crap out of RE2 and love the whole Leon and Claire surviving against the world thing-- so they really lost me in that movie. Though I didn't hate it-- just didn't like it as well.
This one was much better. IT looked great and was entertaining.
