Svetlana Belikova: Best character in the movie.

Although her character was clearly inspired by "The Boss" from Metal Gear Solid 3.

She is still an awesome character that personified an aged/mature looking woman who is incredibly sexy/attractive but also has incredibly fighting skills and a very strong dignified personality.

During her fight scene with Ada, I was actually rooting for Svetlana to win.
Her character was just so appealing and attractive on many different levels than just her looks.
She has style and personality as well.

Definitely one of the best things about this movie.

I really liked her character too, her fight with Ada is one of my favorite scenes. I've always enjoyed the character that stays quiet and than pulls a surprise on us, in this case, great fighting skills. Her character was awesome.

Yeah that Ada fight scene was awesome. Mainly cos it was so unexpected.

At first you think she's the quiet soft spoken, passive type.
Then she surprises you.

When Ada kicks the table and the "coffee" (or whatever it was, I forgot) towards her, I thought: "Oh no, she's going to get hit".
I was surprised when she avoids it.

Then she starts fighting Ada and I thought:
"Oh.. she knows abit of self defence. Hmm ok.."

Then as the fight progresses and her skills intensifies and she starts to reveal more and more of her fighting skills..
It's like: "omg this girl is crazy awesome".

Right you are, I also couldn't help notice that Ada took Leon's advice in Resident Evil 4 when he told her knives work better for close encounters.

Agreed. I loved her. I hope she makes it into RE7.

I'm glad Ada got owned.

"I'm glad Ada got owned."

Yeah me too.

Nothing against Ada, but I always disliked her since RE4 (she was ok in RE2) when they changed her personality to a selfish, dishonest, double crossing, slut.
That's all her character does.

Occasionally they show she has a good side to her (she acts the way she does but deep down is supposed to be a "good" person) but you rarely see that.

Yeah, totally agree. Me three :P

Agreed. Great villain and the "twist" that barely counts as one was good too, actually. She had a strong presence throughout the entire movie and made things happen, with a clear goal and aim and the skills and caracterization to pull it off. Highly memorable and I liked that she was also a woman. You don't see these villains often as females anywhere really.

I know there's alot of "movie magic"/"video game magic", but I still have to say... those women are very nimble and mobile in those skirts and what had to be 4" heels.

I was thinking of that fight why they couldn't have dropped their skirts for more movement and the winner then gets to dress again lol....It just didn't seem that real that you could move like that.

Am I the only one who thought she looked like an older version of Maria from Silent Hill 2?

Hmm never thought of that but yeah slightly. Not sure if they had some of the same animators who did SH to do the animation for this movie.
