So Leon crippled that man

Why not just kill him? That would just ease his pain, you douché!

I don't care if Leon had his moronic speech how he should live with the pain... This man is already dying. Kill him and he won't suffer knowing he's *beep* crippled now and make it even worse! Leon's such a tool and a douchébag!

Leon should be crippled and see how it feels like.

I can see Leon's point, that would be the best thing to do. If you were paying attention he was stupid enough to inject himself with the pathogen; anyways the best way to honor the memories of your dead friends is to be alive. You die then people will most likely forget those people were alive.

reply

No offense. But i don't see the logic in that. He didn't need to criple him.

I've always hated how dumb and selfish Leon was in RE4. He's the one who deserves to be crippled. ...He even left people to die which he would have time to rescue if he gave a *beep* But he doesn't. Worst. Agent. Ever!

reply

That was the only way to stop the parasite. Those soldiers would have tried to kill Leon anyway.

reply

I see. But i still think it was stupid.

reply

I'd forgotten about that part. I wasn't sure why he was stopping Buddy from killing himself, only to paralyze him. That's what I get for stopping a movie half way and coming back to it later.

I'm a person just like you
But I've got better things to do

reply

He had to shoot him in the spine to get rid of the virus.

reply

Parasite not virus.

reply

But then again he could use some professional surgery and not some jackass who thinks he's cool.

reply

Someone named "The Space Jockey" should know about parasites that the military would like to get their hands on.. ;)

Leon had to do it..
Buddy was close to turning and there were probably a point of no return..
So instead of letting him commit suicide, he took his chance on either killing him or crippling him completly..
In the end, he was only paralyzed from the waist down, and continued his life as a teacher (as I understood it)..

reply

The parasite would have likely took over before he could have gotten into surgery. Keep in mind there was a civil war which means hospitals would have likely not have been in operation.

reply

Assuming they could even perform the surgery needed to remove it which Leon already suggested is not possible without removing or damaging the spinal cord and would have pretty much ended up with the same result.

reply

Are we forgetting the fact that he left a terrorist who turned innocents into zombies live?

reply

Personally I think he was lucky that Leon spared his life.

The guy was a two timing douche. Leon constantly wanted to make amends and wanted to work together, instead the guy kept turning against him and trying to kill him.

reply

Please explain to me the scene in all the detail, because I don't get it.

Is it assumed that Leon shot the guy in the spinal cord or something? Although we're CLEARLY SHOWN that he shoots him right in the freaking face? What? The scene is confusing.

--------------------------------------------
I own you.

reply

HE didnt, he shoot the ground behind him to scare him.
The guy got polarized when they removed the parasite from his spine.

That whole scene was so badly directly that anybody who forgot that one line lean says wouldnt realize whats going on.

And even then its a mayor plothole since leon was talking about the things that were put in by mouth, not by the needle injections that guy controlling the monsters had.
There is a huge jump in logic here that wasnt explained in the movie and might actually be a big *beep* up by the writers.
Im pretty sure the director didnt understand his own script, or what worse, there was no script and they made it up as they went which is pretty common in rushed badly made movies.
