Two hot tops fighting over a lousy bottom like this?

Never gonna happen in real life.

Well, I can only say Raul deserved better, all around (his immigrant situation and his boyfriend) This movie was hampered by way too many meant-to--be-significant-but-really-boring silences, and the idea that the rapidly aging Troy is still considered such a magnet and legend. He is certainly handsome, but the way Jonathan and everybody else reacted to him seemed somewhat unrealistic. Especially in youth-obsessed L.A.

A major criticism here is that the actor playing Jonathan wasn't attractive enough to be so appealing to his current lover and his ex. I think he was adorable, physically, but very immature. Immature to the point of cruelty--really, the haircut? That made him unappealing. We have to assume the sex was phenomenal between J and Troy. And that that was the real connection. (Tears at the end notwithstanding.)

Raul had genuine problems and it seemed he was likely going to leave Jonathan to his chocolates and cherry tomatoes. Troy? Two words: sun screen.
