Really, if he is a brony, so what?

Ted Cruz is an extreme far-right neo-con who shouldn't be allowed in any position of power, but even if he likes a particular show that you do, it doesn't say anything at all about the show itself or the other people who like it.

If Ted is a huge fan of the original Star Wars trilogy that's no reason to get upset or to stop being a fan yourself.

Given his positions on gays, immigrants, and Muslims, it doesn't seem to me that he's embracing the values of the show or its fans.
