it's called hazing and takes place in the military and police type roles.
I'm familiar with the concept, but not so much on how it's still used in some work cultures. I know a few people who've been fired for it. It does seem in line with the slimy behaviour the wonderbolts have exhibited in the past, such as lying to Rainbow Dash about Soarin's condition to get a better flyer for the Equestria Games.

My shop called me "Honey Badger." I'm not completely sure why. Also it was "Hellboy" before I got there, because of my last name. Good times. I hated that place.

I liked it when Rainbow Dash impersonated the other Mane 6.

So did I.

Don't play games with a girl who can play better.

I liked this episode better than last week's, which is odd, because Dashy used to be my least favorite (I don't think I really have one, now.) I tend to like her Wonderbolt episodes, though. Spitfire is back to her drill instructor persona (as opposed to her friendly persona from Best Night Ever, or her bully persona at the Equestria Games.) I suppose it was a good lesson for Rainbow Dash to learn, that sometimes, it's better not to stand out. Although I was worried that the traumatic memories of her childhood being brought back up would cause her to have a breakdown... But yeah; solid episode, with solid writing this week.

More like Rainbow CRASH!(I appreciated that since I don't like Rainbow Dash)

Yes, that kind of seemed to be the lesson. Either that or just deal with teasing, it is ALL in good fun. I understand that this is what the real life equivalent of the Wonderbolts would do, but not all nicknames kids(and adults) get are intended to be playful joshing. Some are intended with intensive malice.
