Season 4 Episode 22- Did anyone else feel bad for Fluttershy bear call?
I cried when I saw her lose her bear call :'(
shareIt was a symbolic loss showing how Fluttershy was willing to give of herself to make a friend happy. Of course Rainbow Dash being Rainbow Dash repaid this by selling Fluttershy into indentured servitude.

Yeah, anyways.
The episode is filled with deeper meanings with this being one of them. Making another you care about happy being more important than silly things like a small amount of time or a bear call you don't need anymore. It becomes sad when it is clear that her consideration is not being repaid, which officially started when she dropped the bear call. Although, Rainbow Dash learns what a jerk she was after all that and makes up for it by giving back to Fluttershy when she gets her the bird call that she wanted to trade for.
One of my top ten episodes for season four.
