Great to see David in the second episode but I can't help but feel it was a favour owed to Matt or David in the past lol

Brits are obsessed with everything "Friends". That's why he did it. Even Matt LeBlanc's new show is set in the UK. All the Brits talk about is Jennifer Aniston, and co. It's really bizarre.

Except your wrong on both points. David Schwimmer is good friends with Walliams and Lucas because he directed episodes of Little Britain USA, which is why he is in it.

Matt Le Blanc's Episodes show is also set in LA.

Secondly, the premise of "Episodes":

"After happily married couple Sean and Beverly Lincoln win yet another BAFTA Award for their successful British sitcom, Lyman’s Boys, they are persuaded to move to Hollywood and remake their series for an American-based audience. They are forced to cast Matt LeBlanc, who not only damages their reputation and show, but also their marriage."

"Episodes" was made by BBC2,and Showtime. It is a British conceptualized show.

Third, the reason they went after Schwimmer to begin with, was because like all Brits, they are obsessed with "Friends".

I don't know where you're getting your delusional idea that 'Brits' are obsessed with friends...
A lot of British people see friends as a tacky, one dimensional show with a cast that are so self obsessed they probably have mirrors in front of their toilets so they can watch themselves crap.

And Friends is by far from one of the best comedys 'ever made'. If you think it is then I guess your age and intelligence is up for question.

Yeah because David Schwimmer is such a high class actor that coming on something like this is just so beneath him right?

Please the guy won't ever have another successful show like friends and movies? Don't get me started. The only movie he'd ever be in would be a straight to dvd release.

I really cannot believe you're insulting this show while praising schimmer. :|

I personally can't believe they'd include any reference to one of the most well known mainstream crap show that was friends in this excellent show. But they did it in a funny way and taking David up to their level, so it's all good.

Good Lord! Reading that the Brits love Friends is like learning the French think Jerry Lewis is a comedic genius. As Americans we can and do produce much better material than that...
