Jackson and the Women - Complaint

I was very late to this series and have just watched the final episode. It looked rather good - characters, plot - but there was something seriously wrong with the set lighting.

Every scene was so damned dark! (Excluding external nighttime shots).

Just ruined the episode for me, made a comment to my wife, and she said they were all like that!

I could barely see any of the action.

Did you try to adjust you TV? :)

I think the lighting (or lack of it) is on purpose. They are going for a "noir" vibe to match the darkness of the material. Drives me nuts, too. When he goes in to his apartment at night, he'll turn on a desk lamp, not the overhead light. Too broke to pay the electric bill, Jackson?

It is annoying. The movie Gone Girl was that way, only worse. You could hardly ever even see their faces. It's stupid because the characters werent living in darkness.

I guess it's like looking at clouds. You see one thing and I see another. Peace.
