What happened to Christy Akerman?

I believe that the character was only involved in a 4 story arc on the show. In the 'Sex Tape' episode Zach FINALLY figured out that she was only around him because of the cameras. He then basically told Christy to take a walk right out of the picture, or rather the cameras. Zach said later on in the episode that Christy probably wasn't the right girl for him or his reality show anyway. Ever since then Zach's attention has been solely focused on Amy and trying to 'win' her back from Nick.

I hope this helps bring you up to date somewhat regarding the Christy Ackerman angle on the show. I've been pretty bummed though that Shelley Hennig isn't in the show anymore. I have no idea if she'll be back in any of the remaining episodes, however it does appear as though she won't be returning. I'm still hoping though.
