jane switched songs?

i dont understand that part where davey is about to perform and jane gives the piano guy the sheet music and says, "theres been a change of plan" or something like that. i expected it to be a different song, some way to get back at davey for taking that part maybe. but i watched through and nothing happened. davey just finished the song and cried away.

i havent read the book. was there something i missed?
