Can someone explain a scene to me? spoiler

Near the end when they all went into that room and Arkin shot the gun out the small window, it looked to me like it was just a small hotel room. What happened when the blonde girl locked them in?

It seemed like all of a sudden the room was much larger, and all these large traps were around in the open, and the collector barged through a large 2 door entrance.

Did I miss some transformation sequence? It seemed like it just instantly changed dramatically. Did the walls fall away to reveal all that stuff or something? Was it just camera angles making it look smaller?
