...Who thought this was way better then The Collector? I think its unfair that it has a lower score. First one was boring. This one was very refreshing. I gave it 8/10 just to make an impact but I honestly would give it a 7/10. Entertaining and beautiful on blue-ray. If anyone wants to challenge me as to why its way better, Im packing some arguments! Anyways, I gave The collector 5/10. Cheers

THE COLLECTION's ending is way better than the ending of the first movie.

Thank You! Now of Course the first needed to end that way so the second could happen but they didn't have to take us for idiots in the process. What with the whole ambulance scene and what not...

The Collector was far more intense and scary for me. Felt like The Collection traded that in for a more action themed movie.

Yeah, second one definitely felt more like an action thriller. Kinda gave me a Blade 2 vibe, just leaning a bit more toward the thriller side.

To me it felt reminiscent to the difference between Alien and Aliens, with the first one going for a claustrophobic "not knowing what's coming next for the poor characters-feel" to it and the sequel amping it up with more guns'n action and badass butt kicking moments (and more foes too), but still preserving a bit of the creepiness from the first one.

With that said I'm not actually comparing The Collector movies with the Alien franchise in any other way. :P
