Which is better? I think the first one.

The Collector by far in my opinion

I preferred The Collection.

The Collecter is way better: Collection is pretty good, but the first is way more suspenseful, creepy and has a better ending.

Agree. Really liked both, but the first was extra creepy and suspenseful. Liked the ending of the second one, more though.

I thought it was a sequel, same cover pic but in blue a same actor from the first *shrugs*

The original Collector from 1965 is better. More thought-provoking and less a gore-fest. It might seem dated now, but it has Samantha Eggar and Terence Stamp!

My favorite exchange from that one: "But you promised!" "I do as I like!"

You must admit however, the Collection is clearly better than the remake. The satisfying ending of the Collection is what makes it better, easily.
