I just stumbled on this show. I watched the first episode, then started the second and they swapped the doctor? The even reshot scenes that had the original actor.
What happened?
after watching episode 2, I think the original actor was better.
I was wondering the same thing. I guess the original couldn't be persuaded to stay with the series.

And the other actor, Adrian Mejia, is not in the show anymore because he passed away.
The original doctor was admitted to SAG and therefore was unable to continue with the series, legally he would have had to be paid more than the show's creators were able to pay him.
