I suppose it is a relative thing...

Murder for love could be interpreted as to be referring to assisted death (euthanasia) which is technically regarded as murder in most countries... Therefore it would be murder done for love....

A lot of people will consider this to be murder and therefore wrong, but others will argue that they are helping a terminal patient gain some peace, and die with dignity, at their time and place of choice etc - ie better than letting cancer, for instance, take it's entire course.... Seen that enough times for my life and know that it isn't pretty or nice for the person concerned....

But you are right, if you discount that idea, murder is wrong....
