Ending (SPOILERS)

I enjoyed this movie much more than expected. The ending wasn't that bad either, but I think it could have been a bit better.
Here a couple of alternate endings that would have worked imo.

1) Happy ending
Same ending, but after the final credits, you see that Bob travels to the past, and falls in love with Bobbi.

2) Sad ending
After he returns to the future, he decides not to go back, because she never really believed him, plus he doesn't want to ruin her marriage. She marries Richard, and they go on honey moon in a cruise on the Pacific Ocean, but the boat drowns and they die -> The boat where they find the book in the beginning (infinite loop)

I like your sad ending #2 because it partly explains the beginning and how the money and book ended up in a safe in a sunk cruise ship. Without any explanation I found the ending to be disappointing.

Great idea regarding the infinite loop, however this type of movie warrants a happy ending, it was a humourous film after all, and easy to watch.

If you're after a more complicated and dramatic film with that idea in mind (don't want to say too much to spoil it for you), go and watch Triangle (2009), that film does my head in a little. Love it though.
Funnily enough it also evolves around a boat.

Good luck, enjoy!

Triangle was awesome! There's a few theories discussed on that on the forum, i loved that movie.

I thought the ending sucked - they basically reset it to before they'd ever met. Which makes the whole film kinda pointless, as the story we've just watched won't happen. They did this in prince of persia too, i never like this sort of thing.
