Louisiana is the only state that allows the harvesting of alligator snapping turtles.There is a limit of one per day,though.

Actually that would really suck, while Louisiana has a decent population of alligator snappers many other states have very low populations of them. Would make more sense to catch and relocate them than kill them (catch and release might actually make a decent show)
