They trap some poor gator and shoot them in the head. Then do the same over again and again. Pretty predictable and boring.
The only time it's interesting is when the cajuns do something stupid like forget the gun or when they're in a tangle with other rustlers. In fact I would like it to get more into the Cajun people's lives outside of the boats they're on. A lot of characters.
klondike... it's popular because the channel that still has the nerve to call itself HISTORY creates the illusion of it's popularity... by tauting the extrapolated, estimated, easily manipulated Nielsen TV Viewer Numbers... numbers that are not intended to be a measurement of a shows popularity... and based on what number out of the 50,000 Nielsen TV Viewers are watching...
... the number... which may be 10 or 20... is then extrapolated to give the estimated millions and millions of viewers.... most people believe that Nielsen is an accurate accounting of viewers actually glued to their TV set watching the garbage... and the slimeballs at HISTORY then taut this number to give this POS TV show the "illusion" of success....
I think we would all be surprised if the actual number of viewers would be made know... I'm sure it would be no where close to the millions...

.. hey speaking of the "WAR of 1812", since this is the 200th anniversary... one would think that a channel that somehow still has the nerve to call itself HISTORY, would of had some kind of programming to mark it ?
Just a half hour program squeezed between the 137th rerun of YAWN STARS episodes would have been nice... if not that a blurb each day during one of the many commercial breaks... "200 Years ago Today"...
But hey I guess the target audience, and the useless POS channel don't care about that boring spit any more...

Also, theres alligator season for a reason, they dont kill them for sport. No one should have any problem with keeping the population in check.

I'm a female in my 50s, can't swim, I have never gone hunting and I do not like to fish - but I love this show.
I find myself shouting out loud at the TV quite often: "shoot him, shoot him, shoot that gator!" and "get your hand out of the water!"
Because we wait for Troy to say: "Choot 'em! Choot 'em!"
