Was the bombing run inspired by Maverick the roller coaster at Cedar Point?

Since 2007 there has been a roller coaster at Cedar Point in Ohio called Maverick:

It has a lot of tight turns and sudden barrel roles. The bombing run in Top Gun: Maverick has a lot of tight turns and then a sudden climb with a barrel role at the end. Is the similarity between them just a coincidence or was one actually the inspiration for the other?
