Did they consider getting Meg Ryan back?

Given Rooster is Goose's son, I thought it would have made for a good scene to see Mav chat with her about Rooster etc.

They did a lot in terms of linking the films so it would have been a great scene.

yeah, I thought it was strange they killed her off. her cameo would have been great.

I must have missed that part of the film. Pretty rough on Rooster, both parents dead. I can't see how they would really work Kelly back into the film but Meg would have been perfect.

There wouldn't be any relevant scene to write her into the movie so I'd say no.

they could have written a couple of minutes cameo. I was expecting it, in fact.

The original script had a part for her but her plastic surgery was deemed "inappropriate" so they went another way.
