I really like Tom Cruise

Tom Cruise is an American hero. If only we could get him away from that damned Church of Scientology then all would be will with the world.

Hopefully Top Gun 2 kicks ass. The bit of plot that's been revealed (the era of human dogfighting coming to an end as drone warfare takes over) sounds like a downer, but I'm hoping that the filmmakers know what they're doing and make it as exciting and triumphant as the first film is.

30+ years is a long time to wait for a sequel. Hopefully the wait will be worth it.
