but it's pretty interesting getting there. Pacino sounds the same in all of his movies these days. Just always looks so different. He will however always be my personal favorite actor.

Pacino's one of my favourite actors too. Thought he was great in this. The film's really interesting I think - left me with tons of questions. Great script by David Mamet as well. Bit confused by the disclaimer at the start though. What's that all about?

At least partially it's about avoiding getting sued I'd imagine......

The disclaimer was there to make it clear that the cast and crew didn't care about accuracy. That's not a bad thing, since it's not a documentary.

What was the point of this movie?

HBO tried to goad Mamet into bringing back some of his old magic. Unfortunately, it didn't work as he just copied a documentary to finish before his deadline.
