Of course, I'm talking about the head bashing scene. Anyone have any idea how they pulled it off? My guess is that there was some kind of pillow or soft material underneath the cabinets. Or maybe the entire cabinet itself was made of some kind of spongey material? It looked like it had some heft to it. Obviously, the foley was added in post. Any other ideas?

shareI'm thinking they used a camera angle that gives the impression that there are hits, but they aren't. The sound of hits is added in post. The blood could easily be real and triggered by remote or by the actor pushing on a bag underneath his head.

Haha dude are you serious? Go to 2:07:57. He swipes a notepad off the dresser and the thing wobbles like cardboard. He's probably gently tapping their face with it and then it's so effective up in editing to look like hard fast hits.
