Seemed Like a Long Poem with Great Scenery

Die Wand is an enjoyable film. Somewhat unusual. Seemingly Deutschland's existential Alpine response to Old Yeller. I thought the the invisible see through wall was a dumb prop. The tale could have been related in the same manner without it, considering a geographic change or two. Why throw some hokey science fiction into a good story?
