Where are the children? ...Or the Corn for that matter! (spoilers)

This movie got a lucky break with its high profile title but otherwise has nothing to do with the original. The prologue is the only tie in to the original setting and events but then quickly moves to California where the story takes place. There are references to "he who walks behind the rows" but for the most part its just a strangers in a strange land type plot. What COTC needs is a rock solid prequel that tells us about Isaac and Malachi!
