Rev. Ron reviews 'Children of the Corn: Genesis'

The Children of the Corn films have always been a series I’ve gone to for some laughs because of its seemingly never-ending line of phoned-in sequels. However, I just couldn’t laugh at this one because it is so boring and has nothing going on for it. The story contains nothing of interest or import, the actors all look like their checks haven’t cleared, and the characters have no discernable traits or even signs of life, then the ending just kinda plops into existence like someone just taking a seat on a couch before letting out a single sigh and just sitting there quietly. The ending is anticlimatic, is what I am trying to say. The movie had no signs of a heartbeat behind it and just looked lethargic and lazy. I’m not entirely sure why it was even made.
