Really not that bad....

Was an interesting concept and easily one of the best of the sequels. It was a nice deviation from what you expect from a children of the corn film. Honestly, yes it lacked children but the concept was new and interesting. Just throwing in killing kids with no real reason doesn't make good sequel, just take a look at the other much worse sequels.

Why people don't like it is beyond me, because to think this was worst than any of the others you'd have to be blind, deaf, and stupid.

i agree. watched them all, like most of them, liked this. shame it wasnt longer and better explained imo

Yea, I agree that I wish it was a little clearer on the ending. I think that's what a lot of people are hinging on that made it "bad", but all in all it was interesting and a way better offering then some of the sequels.

a follow up continuing straight on would be awesome

i dont think its a good sequel but i do think its a good film (well, would be if it was longer)

I think it was a good film and sequel. Definitely not the worst of the series, but also not the best.

It's really not that good either

The film was pretty decent to start with but lost me somewhere in the second act. Beyond predictable, stale and boring to boot. That lifted freeway scene didn't help matters much. Kudos to Billy Drago and the young couple for turning in decent performances and to director Joel Soisson for making as much as he could have out of hardly any resources. Two weeks to shoot? This flick was doomed from the start.

And to think, this is probably loads better than the latest Hellraiser abortion shat out by the Weinsteins.

2 weeks shooting schedule!?

He deserves a bloody oscar if that's true!

Well I agree with the subject of the OP, it was not that bad of a movie; it also did have an interesting concept.

However, I disagree that it was one of the best sequels. Personally I thought it was worse than all the sequels except for the remake & part VI (part VI was just about unwatchable for me, & Genesis was far better than VI).

I hated the movie the first time I watched it, but the second time around it wasn't nearly as bad as I thought it was. No, it isn't the best of the series, I'll admit that. But it is still a pretty decent movie worthwhile to any Children of the Corn fan.
