Big question (spoilers)
Did she deliberately removed the safety from her gun?
This was yet another stupid part of this script.
1) Cop's department-issued guns usually don't have a safety. They're usually Glocks that don't have safety -- the 'safety' is basically the holster than they take it out of when needed.
2) Her gun didn't look like a department issue gun however and looked like it had a safety. Strike 2 -- why did she hand someone a gun with the safety off?
3) What kind of idiot hands someone a gun, safety on or off, loaded and **with a round in the chamber** when they've clearly not used a gun before.
This movie is full of stupid things like this. Absolute garbage.
