The score is ridiculously low

I'm not saying it should get a 6.0 out of 10, maybe not even a 5.0 for that part. But 3.5 is extremely low. I've seen much worse films than this.
True, there are a lot of boring parts and the first hour isn't very strong. The last 20 minutes however are pretty worthy to watch. The scene with the Albanians is strong stuff. And Peter Greene's monologue is almost genius: ''you know something there are *beep* *beep* there are red *beep* there are black *beep* and there are white *beep* there is nothing worse than a white *beep* *beep* Especially a toothless *beep* white *beep* which is what I had to deal with FOR FOURTEEN *beep* MONTHS''

I admire this film just for having the balls once not portraying gangsters as smooth-skinned mamma's boys in sharp suits.
Whether they're Italian, Albanian, African-American, Irish, Jewish,...you name it, These are ruthless *beep* that'll cut your throat when you mess with them. The movie portrayed them exactly as it should be.

Loved the realism and it's a smart film. No moments when you say "D'oh"! Except possibly when they were staking out the numbers joint in plain sight for weeks on end. But that's a small detail. I gave it a 9 just to counteract the crazy
low rating.

Leave the gun, take the cannoli...

Just watched it - I give it a 7.0 - fantastic and extremely unrated film !!
