This show is absolutely fantastic. I have only recently heard of it by chance, and am two years too late. I am disappointed that it only ran for one season, but I suppose that is largely to do with no promotion. This is easily one of the best cooking competition shows I've ever seen and am glad I came across it. If you are looking for a fantastic cooking competition, this one season is well worth the watch.

Undercooked pretentious food - that was sent back uneaten half of the time (a fact carefully hidden from the delicate genius chefs by their helicopter parents).
Not to mention, terrible service what with mummy/waitress arguing with and insulting any customers who weren't delighted to be served the aforementioned undercooked/uncooked pretentious glop.
They did improve the most though. The parents pulled back from defending their sons/insulting customers and the boys started making less pretentious dishes while still maintaining culinary creativity. As the critics and Ramsay said, their little show of dry ice in the final round wasn't gimmicky like other stuff they did when they first entered the competition. Ramsay really brought them down a notch or two and you could see they were a lot less cocky as the competition went on.
Prashad just sort of flatlined without any massive issues but without any massive improvements either. Their cooking, while looking very delicious, is very traditional and something you could find on the streets of India. Casamia tried to do something unique and different; something you wouldn't be able to find really anywhere else even in Italy. Their cooking has a certain style.
Besides, Prashad was getting a tad cocky in the final rounds with the mom even saying that she knew they were going to win because she prayed. I was honestly rooting for Prashad until I heard that *beep*
Agreed. The whole time they focused anything on this restaurant I kept thinking how unappetizing it looked and not even Italian.
