ok, i was liking the "oh no, we got rid of the wrong spirit" ending until the girl showed up and popped out of her magic heated pokeball to disney kill the wicked monk with a beam of jesus light! what a joke
better ending? they think theyve got rid of the monk, life goes on, monk drags girl upstairs and hangs her, she asks for spirit girls help but shes not there anymore. THE END.
I completely agree, it was a damn good flick until the lame disney/tacky ending. All the F/X had been so wonderfully old school until the crappy digital jesus lasers.

Nice idea. Or perhaps when the young girl [spoiler] ' threw' the pendant with such accuracy and it landed exactly where she wanted it to ( without sliding off ), maybe another good ending would have been for Mr. Malevolent to lock them all in the room whilst the perfectly placed pendant burned, and burned and burned 'til the house burnt down and all we hear is the croaky laughter of Mr. Malevolent.......

It's apparently based on a true story, heap of crap if you ask me, I'd rather watch a film about the enfield haunting but there's a series coming up on sky about it so can't wait for that but on the whole I kept watching this film expecting it to get better but wasted an hour and a half of my life!
