I feel so bad for her. I don't think Billy would cheat on her.

Well Actually Eli didn't cheat on Jane, they weren't together! They had one real date and he wanted more and tried but felt she didn't want to go there with him!!! I for one hate that the writers went there but I suppose they had to set up for the season finale with a possible Jane and Billy connection in case there is no season 2!!!! I like Jane with Eli and Billy but definitely Billy for end game!

luv your username -- anyway - i agree w/your post - but only diff is that i don't want jane w/eli anymore esp since he banged india --- i want my billy/jane as end game -- even if the show comes back i want them together; i can't stand zoe or lulu -- these chicks don't understand billy like jane, she GETS him, and accepts billy for himself -- i thought zoe was gonna be a cool girl but she showed her true colors last week's episode; she is a liar and a beeyotch - she acted like she was poor HUGE lie to Billy and now she is acting all posessive over Billy - telling Jane that "there will never be anymore sleepovers w/Billy" - freaking whatever zoe w/your insecure fake self... she needs to go -- and i hope we get another season, bc i really love this show - its like a tv version of The Devil Wears Prada -- but Gray is a little bit nicer than Streep's character..

Yea I am not a fan of zoey either! And I really hate how they showed billy all into Zoey in the finale and it was like his feelings that he had for Jane just magically disappeared!!! The shows before the finale showed Billy's feelings for Janey but then boom.... Nothing! That was my dissapointment!!! I am however glad that Eli told Jane the truth without her finding out from someone else so maybe just maybe there is still a chance!!!!

I noticed that this whole Jane thing in the finale was like a strange mirror of a events for when she had a "thing" with Jeremy. He slept with India and then Eli did the exact same thing. I feel sorry for her.. I guess that's what happens when they make a show with a lead that has basically 0 character development and ends up being the forever nice girl that gets trampled all over :/

It's pretty bad. Weaker girls would probably kill themselves over this. But to have the guys you like to choose other girls over you is seriously bruising for the ego. I wonder if she feels inadequate as a result. Plus the guy she truly loves is with an awesome girl he connects with. All Jane has his her career. Well she did. Well see in season 2 what happens.

Plus her mom left her. She choose a guy over her too. Poor girl.

I hope you like feminist rants because that's kind of my thing.

Jeremy slept with India while interested in Jane
Nick kissed Lulu while beginning to date Jane.
Eli slept with India while beginning to date Jane.
Billy slept with Zoe, while Jane began thinking of Billy in a romantic way.

She should just turn lesbian. Lol. To tell you the truth, it's all Jane's fault. Though i like the show and like her, Jane is pathological liar. You can't be with someone if you're always lying only showing them part of who you are. I think that's why she's thinking of Billy in a romantic way. He's the one that knows both, he's the only guy that knows all the sides to Jane and he loves her and doesn't let her down. This whole fear of getting fired makes sense, but she should have told Nick when they were going out. Eli i bet would be understanding but i doubt he would want to date a high schooler.

agree with every single thing in this post :)

She's digging her own grave. It doesn't help that the guys entangled with her are amazing/perfect and have an abundance of the female population swooning over them

I agree. It makes me wonder though. While I do like Jane with Billy, I can't help but think is she only in to him because they've known each other for so long and he knows her secret. If she would have told any the other guys and they were okay with it, would she be having these feelings for Billy still?
