..I thought that I had read that there was some sort of contract violation (something to do with the actors' pay?), and that is what stalled production, and FOX ended up cancelling it. I really liked the series,. and it could of easily ran 2-3 seasons. And yes, Those DUMBASSES at FOX DO have a tendency to cancel good shows (i.e., Alien Nation, Brimstone, etc.), and they should be tortured for their idiocy.

shareI have a theory that the lawsuit between Napoleon Pictures and Fox Searchlight is why they cancelled it, because the ratings were actually good compared to the other animated shows on Fox. With just 6 episodes they kept having breaks and one episode aired the same night as the grammys and it still pulled good ratings.
Bob's Burgers continually gets horrible ratings, much worse than anything Napoleon Dynamite got, yet they continue to renew it.
