I'm sitting here watching the premiere and thinking "Wow this is worse than the movie". I for one hated the movie but maybe thats just me. Does anyone else agree?

I agree Dry and we are not alone. The show has a small lover rate which is far outshines by the haters what does that mean? The show is terrible.
shareWhy would you even bother watching the show if you hated the movie??? The show is exactly like the movie except its animated, and its a lot funnier. The show reminds me of King of the Hill and Ren and Stimpy, its a lot better than American Dad, Allen Gregory, and the Cleveland Show which all shared similar humor to Family Guy but just weren't nearly as funny.

I look down:HEY...NOTHING, absolutely nothing beats American Dad in terms of comedy animation. It's absolute gold, and stands as the #1 show on television that's grossly underrated. It's heads over heals better than South Park, Simpsons, the current Futurama season, Simpsons, Family Guy, Cleveland Show, Bob's Burgers... you name it.

Dude, it's one man's opinion. Relax. We all like different things. Whenever I gave American Dad a chance, I was very turned off by the episodes I saw. I can see why people like it, I won't put anybody down if they like it, but it's just not for me.
Bob's Burgers, on the other hand, is comedy gold. Of course, that's just a difference of opinion.
If anything, American Dad is grossly overrated. The voices are more ear-piercing than nails on a chalkboard. How anyone could listen to those voices all the time is beyond me. If you can get past the horribly irritating voices, the comedic level is pathetic. It's just terrible. I would rather watch pretty much any cartoon, funny or serious, instead of American Dad.

shareI watched it because i though it might be funnier than the movie. Guess i was wrong. And if the show is exactly like the movie then won't it last only 4-5 episodes? Whats the point of bringing up a show that has already been cancelled for being unfunny? By far the Cleveland show is more funny than American dad, Family Guy and this show. How can you tell this is funny it's only had two episodes?? I didn't watch the second one after the first one turned out to be atrocious so who knows if that was funny or not.
shareI really had no interest in the movie first and second time round (not that I actually watched it; I worked in a rental store at the time).... but when I finally got sick of the mainstream stuff and started following genres/actors individual films, and got to John Heder, I eventually had to watch Napolean Dynamite again. So the third time round (but first time I really watched it) I can honestly say didn't love the film but it was very funny. ND humor is certainly one of a kind and Heder plays Dynamite perfectly, I cannot imagine anyone else playing the role better.
Fast forward to the cartoon. In a nutshell, I really liked it! It had more lol moments than the film (due to its 20 minute length no doubt). If you enjoyed the film you should like the cartoon series.
I do, I didn't find the movie the least bit funny. The Steak joke, the Nut with the football, Pedro, the dumb dance, none of that was funny at all to me. The show was pretty bad, I did watch it and didn't expect much. It delivered pretty much what I thought.

The movie was horrible but the show is far worse. I didn't smile once. FOX screwed up major by green lighting this POS! They need to cancel this now so they can salvage what little dignity they have left. And THIS IS WAY worse than even the worst episode of any of Seth's shows.

I agree, the film was stupid and the cartoon is worse. People saying that this is better than Seths shows are complete retards. I agree they should cancel this and maybe bring forward Bobs Burgers. This was a stupid excuse for a show. And i liked what you said in another thread, the show is about social rejects for social rejects. It's true 100%. The only people who generally like Napoleon are social rejects.
