This doc seem to be a box office failure, but how did it go for those companies? Does it mean they didnt make profits from their investments?
Has Spurlock commented on it's commercial failure?

I actually came back to this board because I was curious about that. I know that POM signed a contract stating that if the film didn't make a certain amount of money they would be be able to get their investment back. They showed that in the movie - and I don't quite remember what the amount was, but it was definitely over $1 million and it doesn't look like the film grossed that much.
The other companies may have had similar deals, but for lesser grosses due to not having such a large investment. I'm sure some actually got good advertising out of this.
(I bought a POM shortly after watching this movie; decided to see what all the fuss was about. It was very good, actually, but way too expensive to be a regular purchase.)
