The book is SO much better! They really messed this up...

I know why they retooled the movie like they did. Most people can't read a book like this with childlike innocence, so they made her imaginary friend a little boy instead of an adult...!

If you get a chance, please...please...READ THE BOOK...! IT IS FANTASTIC...! This movie is sweet, but the BOOK is amazing.

Agreed just re-read this fantastic book and realized they made a movie and thought "Hey cool!" its a fun easy movie to make and translate to film. but not even 20minutes in....OH what a shame. such a shame, it could have been SO good!
