No puede ser!

Victoria's repeated denial (No puede ser! NO PUEDE SER!) at finding out that Maria D is her daughter, gave me a throbbing headache, last evening. Victoria is an extremely difficult woman to root for, every other episode (many times every episode, from one scene to the next), because of her mercurial moodswings. She tearfully, gut-wrenchingly implores God for her long, lost daughter, then in the next instant, after FINALLY getting her miracle, recoils at the thought that it is Maria D.

The woman should have thrown her arms around Maria and cried tears of pure, unmitigated joy; not repeatedly scream in denial, 'NO PUEDE SER!!!!!!!!-!' I could understand such a reaction if she discovered Ximena was her daughter, but Maria D?!

Maria D's, repeated, 'NO PUEDE SER!' upon hearing that Victoria is her madre is totally UNDERSTANDABLE. Victoria has LONG treated her like something she stepped in, that a dog left behind, NOT TO MENTION, her less than heartwarming reapction to discovering that she was her daughter.

I guess since there are still several more episodes to go, the mother/daughter reuinion is ON HOLD.

Victoria is probably still holding the LindaHo affair against her. Had that not happened she probably wouldn't be having issues with Maria and we would not have a story anymore.

I think this will run at least to 180 episodes. It's still in production in Mexico.

It is still in production? It is my turn to exclaim 'no puede sur!' lol I love this telenovela, but really feel it needs to conclude muy pronto.

How long must we endure poor, doomed, deluded, Alonso's one-sided love, for 'his' ternura?

How much longer before we see Bernada in her own personal Hell, in a prison cell?

How much longer before the loooooong awaited, HAPPY, madre/hija reunion between Victoria and Maria?

How much longer must we wait for Max and Maria's walk down the aisle?

Still in production? AY DIOS MIO! LOL
