Great, more bull `ish for theaters...

The same ole colon movie for theaters. This isn't new & fresh, this doesn't sound like its gonna be entertaining, this doesn't even LOOK like anything but some rehash of Something Borrowed (garbage flick BTW) and ANY rom-com you can think of! This looks like something uptown yuppies would waste their time with. The SAME individuals who probably watches How I Met Your Mother religiously and thinks The Big Bang Theory should be contracted for another two seasons. OK, I'm taking stabs here, but seriously, back several years MAYBE the "wait until it comes out before you judge" rebuttal would suffice a debate... but not today.

Hollywood's been SPEWING garbage left and right, and as of late, you can PREDICT a whole movie without seeing it! I already know what to expect of this, READ THE PLOT, people! Sound familiar?! Yeah, cascade your collection of DVDs and PICK one. Screw Hollywood and the oatmeal-taste-leaving actors/actresses they hire!

you're funny.

...wait are you serious?

You have no idea what you're talking about. Yet another person judging a movie based on a trailer...wait..I'm not even sure you saw the trailer..you just "read the plot"..

I'm not going to try and defend the movie... can't say it turned out to be one that would be a favorite... but it was different..and not at all like "any rom-com"

It had "natural" dialog... I'm not a big fan of that... it did drag a bit in places... and far too many F words...seemed very unnatural...even for "natural" dialog.

I've seen plenty of rom-coms and this one was nothing like the usual hollywood sappy chick flick.

I'm also not going to even try to convince anyone I know to go out and see it. It was somewhat interesting with a twist or two that I know you could not predict at all..My wife loved it...but I would say so-so.. not a big fan... but it had a few awkward/interesting moments.

so here's my challenge for kicks and giggles... see if you actually can predict what happens in this movie, based only on what you read in the plot:

***Iris invites her friend Jack to stay at her family's island getaway after the death of his brother. At their remote cabin, Jack's drunken encounter with Hannah, Iris' sister, kicks off a revealing stretch of days.***

give it a shot.

As someone who watched this, and not the trailer, I will admit the OP was suprisingly accurate in his prediction. The theaters that agreed to house this movie for how many days got jipped. If I were the theater manager I would be like "Why? Why did I let Your Sister's Siters run for that many days .... whhhhyyy?"

While I agree with you about the garbage that's been in cinemas of late, I liked this movie, and I will 100% take movies like this over sh!t like 22 Jump Street or Couples Retreat any day. Talk about the lowest common denominator. Also this movie is ten times better than Something Borrowed, and it is no matter how bad you think Your Sister's Sister is. Something Borrowed is trash at its finest.

You heart me? What is that? Is that like I love you for pussies?
