Does anyone know what island the film was shot at? Looks like Vashon to me...

The Seattle Times says San Juan Islands, and it certainly looks like it.

It's definitely in the San Juans. The cabin is probably on the inner sound on Orcas Island, though the ferry dock looked more like Lopez Island. The filmmakers take liberties with the geography, e.g. the place he trashes his bike is in South Seattle, not on any island.
