So who actually killed the team members?

Arnold stole the money from the team, so the bullet left behind was left by Arnold himself, not by some all-knowing cartel or gang. They would not have known about the team's attempt to steal money or their sewer technique anyway, and that's if they even had any idea that some of their money had been stolen to begin with.

Mireille Enos character claims she was killing them, assuming they had stolen the money, and we have some convoluted story about cut off fingers and a dead Guatemalan hit team being used as cut-outs for Enos' character's killings? Even with Sugar's help, I don't see even the both of them able to track down and kill the Guatemalans, ditch their bodies, and then use them as cut-outs for killing other team members, including staging elaborate ruses (the RV on the train tracks).

Plus there's the question as to why the RV killing was staged as an accident, but the other one was cartel-dramatic (nailed to ceiling), and one more was some kind of team assault.

How/why were the Guatemalans hunting the team to begin with? AFAIK they weren't tied to that house, it was supposed to be some other Mexican cartel.
