So it wouldn't be traced how much money were missing from that stash. Yeah. They counted the ashes lol and its still ten million dollar less.

thanks .

they can determine how much money was there by ashes? how could they tell if the burnt bills were 20's, 50's, 100's etc.

anyway, i liked the movie but how did they explain blowing up the money? did they say the bad guys did it. i can't see a situation where the bad guys would want to blow up the money.

they are trying to shoot DEA agents during the fight so to me that would be a big charge, not possession of money. that really bugs me. i don't have the movie or can find a synopsis explaining it so thanks if you have an answer

I doubt it. Though, I could imagine some Hollywood scenario that explained it by weighing the ashes. But I seriously doubt an organization would go to that much trouble.

There was enough left for them to determine how the bundles were packaged.

They didn't directly. It was only mentioned by Lizzy during her interview when she said something toe the effect, how would you know how much was missing when it was blown up?

I imagine they were going for it was accidentally blown up during the fire fight. Not that either side blew it up intentionally.
