It was clear his wife was dead, but it was a little more ambiguous as to whether the son was alive. Using the money just for revenge did no make him as justy as if it was for a good cause. In the end , he got everyone killed over the money. I was born in the house my father built
Almost, but not exactly. He used the money to bribe officials in Mexico to conduct a manhunt for those responsible for executing his family (The Cartel). In the end, he used the money to seek justice, not profit. The way it was presented to us, that info was held out until the very end, making him look really bad.
Well, he caused his entire team's death + an innocent driver + an innocent cyclist. I say he's pretty much up there in term of being a villainous *beep*
Anti hero is more accurate. It's not a typical good vs evil formula.
A lot of complaints about not being able to relate to the characters. I found it made them more interesting if anything. They're a$$holes but they're still humanized.
