Anyone else love Olivia Williams as Brentwood?

For me the movie doesn't really kick in until she appears. She's sort of like Tommy Lee Jones in The Fugitive, stealing the movie right out from under the star. I love the way she's written and I think Williams (despite a dodgy accent) is brilliant and sexy despite no obvious attempts to make her so. I want an Investigator Brentwood spinoff.

A good character and good performance. I like that she was flawed in her own ways and vulnerable while still being effective and clearly good at her job.

I was also very happy that, by the end of the movie, her partner and her weren't killed off like expendable fodder. That was refreshing.

You mean other than the nipple shots in the pool scene?

I mean, frankly, I'm a guy that finds her attractive, but I'm not sure why that was included at that juncture.

I know it's only been a few months, but I've forgotten nearly everything about this movie already. Ahhh, the joys of getting older. Anyway, wasn't the pool/nip scene in conjunction with she and Arnie's would be romance?

Was her accenmt dodgy? Sounded ok to me, albeit as a perhaps generic southern US accent. But good enough, surely?

And yes she was brilliant, but then you'd expect that.

It's kind of unsurprising, as I would bet London to a brick, Brentwood has more onscreen time in this movie than ANY other character, which in itself, is unusual in a Schwarzenegger film. And of course it helps that Olivia Williams is a fine actress in her own right. 🐭
