The penultimate episode of Season 3 would have been the actual finale of the show?

I absolutely loved the Lisa & Malik wedding episode and I thought it was a more satisfying end to the series.

Lisa & Malik got married, Tessa realizes that she and Ryan will never happen (more fitting with the show's theme of youthful independence IMO), and George and Dallas end up together again.

The "series finale" was very boring with Tessa's plot being meh, Dalia barely being in it, George & Dallas breaking up, Lisa & Malik having a boring "newlywed" story, and that ending of Tessa, bleh.

What do you think?

I think that it would have been an overly typical BS happy ending had the last episode been Lisa & Malik's wedding and George and Dallas getting back together again. Of course lotsa folks like often-unrealistic happy endings, and if they do, they should be pleased that they happen so often in the fantasy world of TV.

The way the last episode ended, though supposedly the writers did not know that the show was to be cancelled, showed a lot of creativity, and though the middle-of-the-street grope fest was perhaps as unrealistic as a stereotypical happy ending, it at least showed some creativity. Also, I dig the Violent Femmes, especially the song that was chosen for the last scene, so it was pretty damn cool for me, as I would think it was for many.
