So, what's the answer?

Ask how to make the world and/or humanity better, and you will get countless of different answers from people who "get it and knows everything". The so-called spiritual leaders of the world may have a point or two, but so does all the average people as well. The problem is to find the needles in the haystacks. It's usually not those who scream the loudest.

I agree. It shouldn't even be mostly important or completely spiritual people, they need to ask around for people who actually do studies about humanity and life of the world, numerous people that could give them wrong and right answers. It's hard to do this because there's so many answers out there from many different opinions, and even if they did get them how long would it take to do a better analysis of what's to be done to fix everything?

If people think wiping away violent and sexual nature is the problem in humanity they're clearly not the ones with the right intelect because everyone knows those are natures that will always be apart of all humanity, sure animals do it too but they don't kill each other at random. It's because we need each other to survive in a world and life together no matter how good or bad it can get, instead of treating each other like bad foreign hordes or whatever, and like I said in one thread even getting rid of religion could make the world an even better place.

I found a needle in a haystack once and my scream was plenty loud.

I don't think that humanity is all that bad. We definitely have problems with greed, but I think we have bigger problems with fear. Put them together and you get the perfect storm known as religion, or at best, superstition. You are right to be wary of the screamers.

All of the intricacies of debate break down into two themes: power and care. Knowing that there are only two choices, pick one and be happy with the outcome. Power will destroy us. Care will save us. You, and all of mankind, must choose.

We fear what we don't know and we see people who are different as inferior or the "enemy." Growing up in a white, middle class neighborhood, I'm the first to admit that I had several stereotypes and preconceived notions (that were mostly negative) about people who were not like me. It wasn't until I lived abroad, moved to an urban area and opened myself up to talking to people different than myself that I truly became a caring person. And I began to see everyone as the same. As an individual I still have a long way to go. But if everyone really tried to understand each other and get to know each other, we would come a long way.
