The ending (spoilers)

At the very end of the movie, when the creature picks up the camera, you can see its face. You can clearly see that it's not Bigfoot, but that it is something else, like Sean stated. And like people on here have assumed - something demonic.

I managed to take a screenshot of it.

Here's the picture:

Ironically, I think we can actually draw more conclusions about the creature from the shot just a few frames prior to that, when its legs are in frame... It has cloven hooves, which really suggest some kind of "demonic" or pagan-influenced creature.

I have also heard these theories that not only aliens and ufo's are thought to possibly be demonic, but other mythological creatures. It is also theorized that demons are spirits of the Nephilim (The giant race of humans spoken of in the bible). It's definitely interesting. If you would like some info on this, look up L.A. Marzulli. He has some books and dvds out. I went to a conference he did at a local church. Pretty interesting stuff.

From what i can make out it seems to have one big yellow eye. also i spotted it early in the film it has Horns so defiantly leaning towards something Demonic.

IS THAT AN INSULT ARE YOU INSULTING ME?? Darrell(U TURN)

reply

Not "defiantly," you mean DEFINITELY.

reptilian!!!

My dad is an illuminati/reptilian conspiracy theorist, so naturally that was my first thought too. Haha.

I thought the movie was pretty good, though some of the behaviour seems completely *beep* mental. Why did Randal from Clerks blow his head off at the end? Why did the chick leave the cabin? Why the *beep* didn't they get their money shot, and instead decided to *beep* around in the dark? Ugh, these characters. The actors were fine, but the characters were mental.

> Why did Randal from Clerks blow his head off at the end?

Because he thought he got his girlfriend killed. Plus, he had just shot the Demon six or so times without effect and knew that he was going to die.

> Why did the chick leave the cabin?

She just saw a guy get sucked out of the cabin. Obviously it was not a safe place to be.

> Why the *beep* didn't they get their money shot

Because the camera guy just smacked his head on a rock and collapsed.

> The actors were fine, but the characters were mental.

Actually, I am usually pretty critical about the stupid things that characters do in horror movies, but I really didn't have a problem with them in this movie. Everyone stayed well within their character and made logical decisions.

"Because he thought he got his girlfriend killed."

Nope, she was Sean's ex gf, not Darryl's (the cameraman that shoots himself).

My friends and I were like; "LUCIFER!?!?" at the very last shot of the movie.
Loved it, but I dont think we'll ever get an answer :)

given the cloven hooves, id say it was the same kind of beastie as the jersey devil

reply

I thought it was a weird stab at explaining the other Cryptid "Jersey Devil" and maybe Mothman and Cupacabra to a much lesser extent...you know Demonic beings in the woods versus benevolent entities...

the sacrilege was what idiot killed the young Sasquatch caused a empty area of woods unprotected so the demonic "West Coast Devil" to enter our reality.

Ok you didn't like the film,
But why so much hatred over a movie?
