The Tom Cruise impersonation by Drew Rausch...

Drew Rausch, the actor playing Sean Reynolds, the expedition leader
did a PERFECT, almost top-notch impersonation of Tom Cruise, in my opinion.
From some angles, Drew has a similar profile to that of Tom Cruise, which also helped see the similarities and enhance the impersonation further.
Whether Drew was PURPOSELY impersonating Cruise or whether it only seemed like that to me-- is what I'm interested to know.
Did anyone else notice the impersonation, or agree with me, that it's there (intentionally or otherwise)?

Anyway, the movie is a cool time-passer and quite entertaining.

I'm currently watching it right now and thought exactly the same thing! I wouldn't have thought it was intentional however they just have a similar facial structure. Wide smile, prominent brow, strong nose etc.

Rather than Tom Cruise, the actor I personally kept being reminded of any time I'd see Rausch's on-screen overacting was William Shatner from his early Star Trek days.

Yep I noticed that too. They look pretty similar and his character was very assertive and aggressive like many of Cruise's characters.
